How early should you plan an exhibition stand?

For a modular system stand, four to eight weeks of lead time are usually sufficient. For an individual custom build, allow eight to 24 weeks depending on scope.

What matters is less the build itself than the coordination beforehand: concept and design, approval of the visualisation, graphic files, registering the stand space with the organiser and the technical connections. These steps partly run in parallel but require decisions on the client side – in our experience, that is the factor that determines the schedule.

Short-notice enquiries are still possible. EXFAIR has also delivered projects in four weeks when the stand space is confirmed and decisions are made quickly. If you are planning a fixed trade fair appearance, things go much more smoothly when the first meeting takes place early.
