How early should you plan an exhibition stand?

For a custom exhibition stand, four to six months before the start of the fair is a good guide value. For a modular system stand, six to eight weeks are usually sufficient.

What matters is less the build itself than the coordination beforehand: concept and design, approval of the visualisation, graphic files, registering the stand space with the organiser and the technical connections. These steps partly run in parallel but require decisions on the client side – in our experience, that is the factor that determines the schedule.

Short-notice enquiries are still possible. EXFAIR has also delivered projects in four weeks when the stand space is confirmed and decisions are made quickly. But if you are planning a fixed trade fair appearance, things go much more smoothly when the first meeting takes place six months in advance.
