Messe München is one of the major international trade fair venues. In addition to the 18 halls, it offers more than 400,000 sqm of open-air space; in 2025 Munich hosted over 90 events. Leading trade shows include BAU (building & architecture), bauma (construction machinery), ISPO Munich (sports), transport logistic (logistics), Expo Real (real estate), electronica (electronics), productronica (electronics manufacturing) and LASER World of PHOTONICS (photonics).
The grounds at Am Messesee 2 are served by U-Bahn line U2 (Messestadt West or Messestadt Ost); Munich Airport is nearby.
What to consider for a stand at Messe München
- Stand construction approval: Single-storey stands up to 3.00 m in height and up to 100 sqm generally need no approval. Taller or larger stands, two-storey structures and special constructions require approval.
- Submission deadline: The deadline is stated in the order form of the respective fair. The current edition of Messe München's Technical Guidelines is authoritative; EXFAIR prepares the documents and coordinates them directly with the venue.
- Lead time: System stands approx. 4–8 weeks before the fair opens; custom builds 8–24 weeks, depending on scope. Book bauma and electronica especially early.
- Access: By car via the A94 motorway, exit Feldkirchen-West; parking garages P1–P8 are on site.
- Storage: EXFAIR stores the stand in Villingen-Schwenningen and delivers it to Munich on time for the next event.

Exhibition stands in München – with on-site project management
Planned and produced in Villingen-Schwenningen, delivered at the venue in München: during set-up our project management is on site, acts as site manager and leads the installation. On request, someone from EXFAIR is also available during the fair.
Briefings and coordination take place at your premises or online. Transport, travel and installation are either itemised in the quote or included in the total price; prices may vary by venue.
