Messe Stuttgart at a glance
Messe Stuttgart is a modern exhibition and congress centre hosting more than 60 trade fairs and numerous other events every year. Leading international trade shows include R+T (roller shutters, doors & sun protection), Intergastra (hospitality), AMB (metalworking), CMT (caravanning & tourism), LogiMAT (intralogistics) and GrindingHub (grinding technology). The grounds at Messepiazza 1 have their own S-Bahn station, Messe Stuttgart, served by lines S2 and S3.
What to consider for a stand at Messe Stuttgart
- Stand construction approval: Single-storey stands up to 3.50 m in height and up to 30 sqm generally need no approval. Larger, taller or two-storey stands and special constructions require approval; documents must be submitted at least 8 weeks before build-up starts.
- Documents: EXFAIR prepares dimensioned drawings and structural proofs and coordinates them with the venue. The current edition of Messe Stuttgart's Technical Guidelines is authoritative.
- Lead time: System stands approx. 4–8 weeks before the fair opens; custom builds 8–24 weeks, depending on scope. Book especially early for LogiMAT and AMB.
- Access: By car via the A8 motorway, exit Messe/Flughafen; parking garages P1–P6 are on site.
- Storage: Storing the stand in Villingen-Schwenningen, around 115 km away, saves transport and storage costs for the next event.

Planned and produced in Villingen-Schwenningen, delivered at the venue in Stuttgart: during set-up our project management is on site, acts as site manager and leads the installation. On request, someone from EXFAIR is also available during the fair.
Briefings and coordination take place at your premises or online. Transport, travel and installation are either itemised in the quote or included in the total price; prices may vary by venue.

For Austrian companies, Stuttgart is a convenient venue; Vienna is around 670 km away. EXFAIR handles planning, assembly and dismantling, so exhibitors from Vienna, Graz or Salzburg do not need to coordinate stand construction on site themselves.
