What types of exhibition stands are there?
The four common stand formats result from the position in the hall:
- Inline stand – one open side, between two neighbouring stands. The most economical format, from about 6 m², ideal for first-time exhibitors. The back wall offers the largest brand surface.
- Corner stand – two open sides on a corner. Significantly more visitor flow at a moderate surcharge, typically from 12 m².
- Peninsula stand – three open sides at the end of a row of stands. High visibility from several aisle directions; the concept has to work from all sides.
- Island stand (also block stand) – four open sides, free-standing without neighbours. Maximum visibility and full design freedom, highest space rental, sensible from about 50 m².
Which format fits depends less on the budget than on the goal: if you want to hold consultations, you need closed areas; if you want attention, you need open sides.
