Professional rigging for ceiling structures: safe, approved and highly visible in every exhibition hall
Exhibition stand ceiling suspension refers to the mounting of logos, banners, illuminated elements or special structures from the hall ceiling above the exhibition stand. Professionally executed ceiling suspensions are visible from 100 metres away and direct visitor flows straight to the stand. All EXFAIR ceiling suspensions are structurally calculated and executed in accordance with BGV C1 and DGUV Regulation 17 — the mandatory standard for trade fair halls in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
EXFAIR plans and realises individual ceiling suspensions for trade fair halls: single-sided and double-sided banner suspensions, illuminated light bodies, LED hangers and complex special structures with multiple suspension points. Costs and lead time
Ceiling suspensions consist of two cost blocks: the hanger itself (banner frame, light body or LED ring, quoted by size and technology) and the organiser's rigging fees for suspension points, hoists and inspection, which vary considerably by fair and hall height. EXFAIR obtains the rigging prices from the organiser before quoting – no surprises on the fair invoice. Lead time: 10–12 weeks, because the organiser reviews the structural calculation and rigging plan; registration deadlines for suspensions at major fairs often close 6–8 weeks before build-up.
Who a ceiling suspension is right for
Peninsula and island stands in large halls, exhibitors with many competitors within sight, and brands whose logo should be recognisable from every aisle. On inline stands ceiling suspensions are usually not permitted – there a freestanding truss provides the long-range effect.
