Stand furnishing and media technology cover everything that makes an exhibition stand work beyond its shell: counters and reception, meeting furniture, brochure stands, flooring, a cabin with cloakroom and storage, a kitchenette with fridge and coffee machine, screens, touchscreens and LED walls, sound, and the electrical installation with connection to the hall power supply. EXFAIR plans the furnishing as part of the design, delivers it with the stand and takes it away again after the fair – you bring only exhibits, brochures and your team.

The furniture follows what happens on the stand: seated consultation areas with privacy for longer conversations, high tables and bar stools for quick contacts at the aisle, a counter as the first point of contact with lockable storage, showcases and plinths for exhibits. Rental furniture comes from a continuously maintained stock in neutral design or is upholstered and branded in your corporate colours; counters and showcases are also made to measure in our workshop.

Media technology is integrated into the stand rather than placed on it: screens from 43 to 98 inches flush-mounted in walls or on stelae, touchscreens for configurators and product catalogues, LED walls as a moving back wall, sound for presentations. We load content before the fair opens and test it on the stand. The electrical plan – connected load, circuits, underfloor cabling, lighting – is ordered from the organiser by EXFAIR and installed during build-up.

Costs and lead time

Basic furnishing – counter, high table with stools, brochure stand, carpet, a cabin from a certain stand size and standard lighting – is included in EXFAIR system stands from €3,500 net. Additional furniture, kitchenette, showcases and media technology are rented per item and fair duration and itemised in the quote; made-to-measure counters and showcases remain your property and are stored with the stand. The organiser's power costs (connection, consumption) are passed on without mark-up. Lead time: rental furniture and standard technology 4–6 weeks, bespoke furniture and LED walls 8–10 weeks; we need content for screens and touchscreens no later than one week before build-up.

Who single-source furnishing is right for

Exhibitors who do not want to coordinate three suppliers (furniture rental, AV hire, electrician) on site; companies with products that need explaining and show configurators or films on the stand; and anyone exhibiting several times a year who wants counters, showcases and technology stored between dates.

Is furniture included in the stand price?

Can I get furniture in our corporate colours?

Yes. Rental furniture is upholstered or branded in corporate colours; counters, showcases and plinths are made to measure in the EXFAIR workshop in your design. Bespoke furniture remains your property and is stored for the next fair.

Who takes care of power and screens on the stand?

EXFAIR. We calculate the connected load, order hall power from the organiser, install circuits and lights and integrate screens, touchscreens or LED walls into the stand. We load and test content before the fair opens.

How far in advance do I need to decide on the furnishing?

Rental furniture and standard technology 4–6 weeks before the fair, bespoke furniture and LED walls 8–10 weeks. We need screen content no later than one week before build-up.
